Refined Technologies, Inc. (RTI)'s Golden Triangle Artisans won four safety awards at the Golden Triangle Business Roundtable's (GTBR) Contractor Safety Awards Gala, held Aug. 21, 2026, at the Robert "Bob" Bowers Civic Center in Port Arthur, Texas, and attended by more than 900 industry professionals. RTI received the Donald T. Boumans Award — the program's premiere honor, with one winner selected in the Maintenance/Construction category (Signature Group) and one in Specialty/Engineering along with the Outstanding Newcomer Award, the GTBR Paramount Performance Award, and the Owner Tribute Award.
Nominees are put forward by the owner sites they serve. RTI was nominated by Motiva Enterprises, and each nominee completes a GTBR award application and submits OSHA logs for review by the GTBR Facility Safety Committee. This year's program drew 92 nominations representing more than 50 contractor companies. RTI is the first company to be a finalist for both the Newcomer Award and the Donald T. Boumans Award in the same year, and the only company to win both in the same year.
RTI carried that momentum into 2026 under the newly unified ISTC/GTBR Contractor Safety Awards Program, earning the Foundation of Safety Excellence Safety Achievement Award, the Owner Tribute Award for the second consecutive year, and the Paramount Performance Award for the second consecutive year. Both repeat wins build directly on RTI's four-award sweep in 2025.
For owners and operators vetting a shutdown-services partner, back-to-back recognition across two independent award cycles is a meaningful, third-party-verified indicator of RTI's safety culture and field execution.
